Red Cabbage
We made it through the frost. I only had some damage to my pepper plants that weren’t fully covered by the frost covers. We are still cooler than normal and quite rainy. We’ve even had a few days were it rained off and on all day. Very unusual. The plants like the rain, which makes me happy. The weeds also like the rain, which I’m not to thrilled about. It’s definitely time to do some weeding. Hmmmmm. Weeding. How long can I put this off?
One day it will be a scarf. Once I finished the baby hat, N. decided she had a list of things she wanted me to knit. wtf? I wanted to knit myself a hat, but you know how it goes. So I’m working on her scarf. Happily, yes. Once I finish this, I’ll knit myself a hat, I hope.
We are already covering the plants with the frost blankets. I’m surprised. It’s early. I thought we wouldn’t be doing this until January. Not this season. So I covered them up and it looks like they’ll need their blankets until Wednesday. Cold snap, whew!
I haven’t read this book yet, but I wanted to share it with you, sounds like it would be a good read.
